Norman (6-foot-3, 170 pounds) who was previously committed to UTEP and had an offer from Butler, is rated by all recruiting services as one of the top ten senior recruits in Michigan.

This season for Godwin Heights, the top ranked team in Class B (Michigan’s 2nd largest classification), Norman averaged 21 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists per game.

In four games vs. teams in the largest classification, Norman averaged 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

Norman is getting recruited by the Duquesne staff to play 2 guard, which means he’ll be paired up again with his AAU teammate and Duquesne recruit Brandon Wade.

PSN talked to Norman’s father, Lamar Norman Sr. and asked him why his son decided on Duquesne.

“We have been friends with Duquesne assistant coach Charles Thomas since 8th grade. Also, with Brandon and Lamar being teammates on the AAU circuit they’re a good fit plus playing time and Duquesne is close to home,” said Norman Sr.

The addition of Norman gives Duquesne another athletic, scoring guard with a ton of talent.

This commitment puts Duquesne right at the scholarship limit for the 2018-19 season.
