**2020 athlete Dawson Ellington from Marietta, Georgia picked up a Pitt offer today. Ellington also has major offers from schools like Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee and UCLA.

**2020 linebacker Tyson Meiguez from Fairburn, Georgia received a Pitt offer today. Meiguez (6-2, 205) also has offers from Syracuse, Cincinnati and East Carolina.

**Pitt extends an offer to 2019 athlete Taj Dodson (6-2, 180) from Fairburn, Georgia. Dodson is rated by 247 Sports with offers from Maryland, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Indiana, Louisville, Ole Miss, Baylor and Boston College.
UPDATE (2:30 PM)-
**Pitt redshirt senior linebacker Jalen Williams announces he’ll be leaving Pitt as a graduate transfer. Pitt now has one scholarship opening which means one of the upperclassman walk-ons could receive a scholarship.

**2020 safety Rashad Torrence from Marietta, Georgia got an offer today from Pitt. Torrence (6-0, 185) also has been offered by Alabama, Florida, Miami, Mississippi State, Penn State and Tennessee.

**3-star linebacker Joe Smith (6-1, 205) from South Dade High School in Miami, Florida received an offer today from Pitt. Smith also holds offers from Syracuse, Illinois, Kentucky, Central Florida and South Florida.
UPDATE (11:51 AM)-
**Archie Collins spent the morning in Douglasville, Georgia and extended an offer to a talented freshman. Collins spent the morning checking on: ’21 DE Jonathan Jefferson, ’19 DE Mataio Soli, ’21 DB Jaylan Harris, ’19 DB Shemar Andrews and ‘19 LB Josh Slay.
Jefferson (6-3, 215) is the freshman that received the offer. Along with Pitt, he also has offers from Duke, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State and Mississippi State.
Soli (6-4, 225) is a huge recruit that already holds a ton of offers including one from Pitt. Some of his bigger offers are from Florida, Oregon, Stanford, Alabama, Clemson, Florida State and Michigan State.
