**Jeff Capel’s team extended an offer today to 2019 swingman Chris Ledlum (6-6, 200) from St. Peter’s, New York. Ledlum is a prospect who’s tearing up the summer league. Pitt becomes Ledlum’s biggest offer with others coming from St. John’s, UMass, St. Bonaventure and St. Louis. By the way, Ledlum is also has a 4.0 GPA.

UPDATE (12:10 PM)-

**2020 wide receiver Marquez Bell from Columbia High School in Lake City, Florida received an offer from Pitt this morning. Bell (6-0, 150) also has offers from South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Temple.

UPDATE (9:57 AM)-

**This morning, the NY Giants cut former Pitt OT Adam Bisnowaty who was their 6th round pick last year. The good news is that this release us earlier enough to allow Bisnowaty to catch on with another team and have a legit chance to stick.

**A couple Pitt basketball recruiting notes: 2019 4-star shooting guard Au’Diese Toney has a change of plans for this weekend. Toney tells PSN that because there’s a “dead period” this weekend, he won’t be able to make a visit to Pitt. Look for that to happen soon though.

Also, 4-star guard Aundre Hyatt from Charlottesville, Virginia has been deciding whether to remain in the Class off 2019 or to reclassify to 2018. Hyatt told PSN last night that he’s “leaning towards staying in 2019.” Hyatt is one of the Top 75 juniors in the country and a major target of Jeff Capel and Pitt.

**A few Recruiting notes from yesterday to catch you up on.  Kennedy Catholic forward Maceo Austin received another offer, this time from Dayton.

**Ohio 2019 quarterback Connor Bazelak received an offer from Iowa.

**Florida 2019 TE Niklolas Ognenovic received his 13th offer, this one from Kansas State.

**Imani Christian 2019 wide receiver Rahmon Hart made his verbal commitment to Ball State.
