Thanks to the recruiting efforts of Archie Collins, Pitt will get an official visit from a highly rated prospect from the state of Alabama.
Last week, defensive end Brandon Mack told PSN that Pitt was one of his first finalists and that he would make a visit in either June or July.

Now, safety Keshun Brown says Pitt has impressed him enough that he will travel to Pittsburgh the weekend of June 15-17 for an official visit.
Brown (6-foot-1, 220 pounds) is a 4-star prospect from Carver High School in Montgomery, Alabama and is rated as one of the states Top 15 prospects. Among the schools that have offered Brown are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, LSU, Mississippi State, Oregon and Texas A&M.
Last night, PSN talked to Brown and asked him what was it about Pitt that impressed him enough to give them his first official visit?

“It was the constant interest that they’ve shown in me from the start,” said Brown. “They’ve really showed me that they really want me to commit to their school. They speak to me the most of any team and I talk all the time to Coach Collins who really wants me. In order to try and get me, he’s tried to get to know me not only as a player but [as] a person.”
“Coach Collins is telling me a lot about the campus, Pittsburgh and things in my life and how I’m doing. They already have a player on their team that I used to train with (Cam Bright) and I talk to him sometimes. He keeps me updated on things,” said Brown.
On the field, Brown has the size and athletic ability to not only play in the secondary but is also physical enough that he can move into the box and possibly play linebacker.
Brown tells me that he’s heard things about Pitt and the city of Pittsburgh but is looking forward to taking the visit and seeing things and making his own impressions about the campus and the facilities.
Pitt is the only official visit that Brown has scheduled and says that the rest will likely come during the season.
Brown is the first non-Florida athlete that will make an official visit during the weekend of June 15-17.
