On the Road: Ohio Cornerback Nyles Beverly

Published

MACDEONIA, Ohio — Nyles Beverly is a future Division-I player in the heart of Big Ten country, and one that the Pitt Panthers would like to steal a commitment from.

Michigan was the first Power Five offer for this Ohio native. In all, the 6-foot, 185 pound cornerback has 19 offers including ones from Boston College, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Purdue, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.

Aside from these offers, Beverly is hearing from Big Ten powers Ohio State and Michigan State.

This three-star prospect received his offer from Pitt when visiting them in the spring and will be making a return trip to Pittsburgh this coming Saturday in order to take part in Pitt’s prospect camp.

Thursday morning, Pittsburgh Sports Now traveled to Beverly’s hometown of Macedonia, Ohio to allow Pitt fans to get to know Beverly better in the event he becomes a future Pitt Panther. I had the pleasure of speaking to Nyles, along with his parents, Nacole and Mario, and discussed a wide-range of topics.
