Saying that this is a huge week for Pitt football recruiting isn’t an understatement.

Following some information we learned last night, Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed that 17 players will be making official visits to Pitt this week.

These official visits are important to out of state recruits because it’s their big opportunity to form an opinion about the city of Pittsburgh, the Pitt campus and the football program. Unlike in-state recruits who get to visit more frequently, this might be the only visit that some of these players make to Pitt.

As the saying goes, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Here are the fifteen players that PSN has confirmed with Pitt official visits this week. Plus, we’re going to list a couple of players that will be making unofficial visits.
