Defensive Tackle Calijah Kancey Commits to Pitt

Pat Narduzzi has landed another commitment from Miami, Florida.

Defensive tackle Calijah Kancey from Northwestern High School in Miami, Florida has given Pitt a verbal commitment while on his official visit.

Kancey (6-2, 260) is rated as 3-star recruit and held other offers from Georgia Tech, Louisville, South Carolina, Kansas State, Rutgers and South Florida.

Kancey becomes Pitt’s 3rd verbal commitment and the second on the defensive side of the ball.

Pitt’s tireless recruiting in Florida is paying off as Kancey joins linebacker Leslie Smith as Pitt commitments from Miami.

Charlie Partridge is starting to stockpile some young talent on the defensive line as Pitt has received commitments from Kancey, Tyler Bentley, David Green, Devin Danielson and Jaylen Twyman in the last 2+ years.
