**Good news for Pitt and one of their commitments from yesterday. This morning, linebacker Khadry Jackson was raised to a 3-Star recruit by Rivals. With this upgrade, Pitt’s 2019 Class is now ranked #29 by Rivals.

Duquesne continues to recruit the state of Michigan hard. This morning, the Dukes are the first school to offer 2021 shooting guard Pierre Brooks from Detroit, Michigan. PSN will have an interview with Brooks later this evening.

UPDATE (10:11Β AM)-
**Jeff Capel extended an offer to another elite prospect. 2020 5-star shooting guard Brandon Boston from Norcross, Georgia. Boston (6-6, 175) is rated by Rivals as one of the Top 20 sophomore prospects in the country. Currently, Boston holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Providence and Virginia Tech.

Since Keith Dambrot was hired, Duquesne has done a great job recruiting in Michigan and yesterday that extended an offer to a sophomore. 2020 power forward Carlos Johnson (6-6, 180) from Benton Harbor High School in Benton Harbor, Michigan received his first offer. We hope to have more on Johnson later today.

UPDATE (9:50 AM)-
**The Pitt basketball program has extended an offer to 2020 combo guard Earl Timberlake from DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Maryland. Timberlake (6-5, 175) is a 4-star recruit and rated as one of the Top 40 recruits in the country and #2 sophomore prospect in Maryland. Timberlake holds offers from Maryland, West Virginia, Clemson, Florida, Georgetown, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Providence, Rhode Island and TCU.

**2019 Beckley Prep (West Virginia) forward JJ Reed took an unofficial visit yesterday to Pitt.
