**Florida cornerback Dane Belton made a verbal commitment today to Iowa while on his official visit. He was at Pitt last weekend but once he left without committing that was a sign it wasn’t going to happen.

**While spending the day at the football facility, freshman wide receiver Jayden Ballard from Massillon, Ohio received an offer from Pitt. Ballard (6-1, 165) also holds an offer from hometown school Ohio State.
