PITTSBURGH — It’s been a few years of change in the Pittsburgh basketball coaching scene over the last few years, with two new Pitt men’s basketball coaches, and new bosses for Duquesne men’s basketball and Pitt women’s basketball.
The most stable part of the four downtown Division I basketball programs has been the Duquesne women’s team, with head coach Dan Burt entering his sixth season in that role and 12th in total on The Bluff.
It’s no surprise that Burt will be bringing back a veteran-laden team with plenty of talent and experience to build on its 25-8 record from a year ago.
PSN has added full home-game coverage of the Duquesne women’s team for the 2018-19 season. As part of our additional coverage, I caught up with Burt in his office this week, with Insider Access exclusive for PSN Die-Hards.
