Over the weekend, AJ Woods became Pitt’s 15th commitment in their Class of 2019.
Of the 15 commitments, Woods is the 11th defensive player and 2nd defensive back.
What does this pledge mean for Pitt’s recruiting moving forward?
By my unofficial count, Pitt has in the ballpark of six—maybe seven—scholarships left to use this year. With likely three of those going to offensive lineman, not many scholarships are left for other positions.
Does the addition of Woods mean Pitt is done recruiting names such as cornerbacks Joey Porter Jr., MJ Devonshire and Tiawan Mullen or safety Briton Allen?
