Which Position on the Pitt Depth Chart Are You Most Comfortable With for 2018?

Twelve days until the season opener versus Albany.

During the months leading up to the opener, people have talked about areas of concern for the 2018 Pitt Panthers.

Offensive line and wide receiver seem to be the two most talked about positions. However, the late addition of Taysir Mack has eased some of the concern at wideout.

Now that we’re so close to the opener and you know about some of the players on the depth chart, let’s talk about confidence instead of concerns.

I’m curious to hear which position fans are most confident about?

Running back is a spot that has four players that coaches are confident in and that could grow to five depending on the development of freshman Mychale Salahuddin.

The quarterback spot doesn’t have much experience but Kenny Pickett is an emerging star, Ricky Town is a former 5-star recruit and freshman Nick Patti has really impressed the coaches.

Pitt’s secondary has real two-deep depth at all four positions and a majority of the talent is young. Pitt fans are anticipating the debut of redshirt freshman Paris Ford.

Like the secondary, the defensive line has legit two deep depth the difference is that this position has some tread on the tires. Rashad Weaver, Amir Watts, Dewayne Hendrix, Keyshon Camp, Shane Roy and a group of young talent led by John Morgan will allow Randy Bates to rotate players to keep them fresh.

Those are your choices, vote and let us know your opinion.
