The atmosphere at Heinz Field tomorrow night will be electric for the 99th edition of Pitt vs. Penn State.

That’ll be a good thing for the Pitt football and basketball program because they’ll be hosting a number of top level recruits. The football team will be hosting a number of their 2019 verbal commitments as well as uncommitted recruits in the Class of 2019, 2020 and 2021.

With the long wait until game time, Narduzzi will be making recruiting one of his priorities this Saturday.

“We’ve got recruiting calls to make,” he said to PSN’s Alan Saunders on Thursday. “We’re allowed one phone call a week. So, I’ll do a lot of my phone calls that day. We’ll have a lot of guys, a big list of visitors. It’s recruiting, I’ll be watching tape and I’ll be studying stuff.”

In a smart recruiting move, Jeff Capel will take advantage of this big event by entertaining a handful of high level recruits.

For the last two weeks, Pittsburgh Sports Now has been letting you know about players that will be at Heinz Field and here’s the updated list that we’ve put together.
