It’s time to announce our Week 2 Dunkin’ Donuts/Pittsburgh Sports Now Player of the Week and this week it goes to Keystone Oaks running back Michael Daure. On Friday night against Hopewell, Daure rushed 27 times for 388 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. Daure also threw a 73 yard touchdown pass to CJ Morrow. That stat line could’ve been higher had a 44 yard touchdown run not have been called back.

This sort of performance has been the norm for Daure this season for Keystone Oaks.

The senior running back is leading the WPIAL in rushing with 817 yards and has already scored 15 touchdowns.

For being named the Dunkin’ Donuts Player of the Week, Daure will receive a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card and is now a candidate for our year end Dunkin’ Donut/Pittsburgh Sports Now Player of the Year trophy.
