PITTSBURGH — Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi closed the book on his team’s 24-19 win over Georgia Tech to open ACC play on Saturday and turned the page ahead to the Panthers first road trip of the season this coming Saturday, when they’ll head to Chapel Hill, N.C. to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Narduzzi praised his team for its performance against the Yellow Jackets, particularly in the first half, when Pitt built a 21-0 lead, and emphasized that they’ll have to play better in the second half going forward.

He also shared that most of his defense’s accomplishments in bouncing back from 51 points allowed against Penn State to less than half that against the Yellow Jackets will have to go out the window because of the drastically different scheme played by Georgia Tech.
