Watch: Pitt D Back to Normal Prep After Conquering Option

PITTSBURGH — The Pitt defense was back into more familiar habits on Tuesday as the Panthers began preparation in earnest for this Saturday’s first road trip of the 2018, when they will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. to face the Tar Heels.

North Carolina runs what linebacker Quintin Wirginis calls an “ACC offense,” and its similar to the outfits the Panthers will be defending the rest of the way.

It’s also similar to the Penn State unit that torched the Panthers for 51 points two weeks ago, so Wirginis and company will have plenty of adjustments to make as the week goes on.

Hear from Wirginis, defensive tackle Amir Watts, assistant head coach and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge and special teams coordinator and running backs coach Andre Powell.
