PITTSBURGH — Despite losing two straight and three of their last four, the Pitt football team isn’t backing down from the challenge that the 2018 season has presented them.
One of the men leading that charge is sophomore quarterback Kenny Pickett, who has placed himself as the forward-facing front of the offense in speaking with the media every week.
But don’t include part of absorbing criticism from the internet on Pickett’s plate. The quarterback, who isn’t particularly active on social media to begin with, said it’s been pretty easy to ignore the noise that’s surrounded Pitt’s sub-par start.
