**This is a name to keep an eye on. Blackhawk junior athlete Marques Watson-Trent. He’s been in contact with Pitt a lot lately in particular Pat Narduzzi. As you can see, he’s attending today’s game.

**Last night, Pitt offered a 2020 safety from Georgia.

**This morning, Pitt extended an offer to 2020 inside linebacker Cody Simon from St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey. Simon (6-1, 210) also holds offers from Notre Dame, Penn State, Maryland, Boston College and North Carolina.

It’s homecoming weekend for the Panthers, and Pitt athletics has also dubbed it retro weekend, with all of the school’s teams playing in royal blue and athletic gold throwback colors.

Pitt is 2-2 all-time in its retro uniforms, beating Georgia Tech and Duke in 2016 and losing to North Carolina and NC State in 2017.

Pitt volleyball beat Syracuse and Pitt men’s soccer beat Clemson on Friday as the Panthers started their retro weekend off on a high note.
