Pitt baseball has announced its 2019 ACC schedule, the first to be played under new head coach Mike Bell.
The Panthers are coming off a 29-26 2018 season, with an 11-19 mark in ACC. The 29 wins were a program high since Pitt joined the ACC in 2014. Pitt also made its first appearance in the ACC Tournament and made it all the way to the semifinals, knocking off No. 8 Georgia Tech and No. 1 North Carolina in pool play before falling to No. 5 Louisville.
The Panthers will open conference play March 8-10 at NC State, with the ACC home opener taking place the following weekend when Virginia Tech visits Cost Field.
On May 3-5, Bell will get a return trip to Florida State, where he coached for the last seven seasons.
Here’s the full ACC schedule. Pitt will also play West Virginia at PNC Park on May 14. The Panthers will announce the rest of their non-conference schedule at a later date.
