Pat Narduzzi and Rob Harley were on hand last night as the Aliquippa Quips routed Keystone Oaks to win the Tri-County West section championship.
The two were at Carl Aschman Stadium to watch Aliquippa stars MJ Devonshire and Will Gipson and the duo didn’t disappoint as they combined to score 4 touchdowns.
Devonshire already holds a Pitt offer and while Gipson doesn’t, he sure gave the Pitt staff something to think about.
Gipson (6-3, 185) scored 3 touchdowns, one on a 52 yard jet sweep and two through the air (55 yards and 67 yards).
For the night, Gipson caught 3 passes for 151 yards.
Earlier in the week, Gipson, who’s already committed to Ball State, received an offer from Rutgers. The question now is will Pitt offer the talented Aliquippa athlete?
Here are a few pictures from last night as well as video of Devonshire and Gipson’s touchdowns.
