Recruiting Update on Aliquippa’s MJ Devonshire

Published

Ever since four-star Aliquippa cornerback and priority Pitt target MJ Devonshire took an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech last Thursday, things have been quiet in his recruiting.

Look for things to remain that way until the end of Aliquippa’s run in the WPIAL playoffs.

Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that quietly, Devonshire is narrowing things down and at the moment, is looking at six schools: (no order) Indiana, Iowa, Ohio State, Pitt, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

As far as official visits, he was planning on making his first official visit to Iowa on Nov. 10, but that’s being rescheduled due to Iowa not knowing their game time yet.

Who will get the first visit?

It’s looking like that could be Pitt. I’m told that Devonshire could make his official visit to Pitt the weekend of December 8-9. The way things stand now, Devonshire won’t be making his decision until the late signing period in February.
