CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — It was a celebratory Pitt locker room at Scott Stadium as the Panthers went a long way toward exorcising the demons of their slow start by beating the No. 23 Virginia, 23-13 on Friday night.
Pitt’s win put the Panthers in sole possession of first place in the ACC Coastal Division, which certainly didn’t appear to be in the cards after the team’s 1-4 start to FBS play.
The Panthers talked about the celebration and what led to Darrin Hall’s breakout three-touchdown performance, while also noting that they have three important ACC games remaining and have plenty that they can improve on.
