Schedules Released for 2nd Week of WPIAL Football Playoffs

PITTSBURGH — The road to a WPIAL title will continue this Friday for the 32 teams still in contention.

Pine-Richland and North Allegheny will host second-round games in the Class 6-A semifinals, while Class 4-A, 3-A, and 1-A semifinals and Class 5-A and 2-A quarterfinals will feature neutral-site matchups.

Classes 6-A, 4-A, 3-A, and 1-A will have their championships played at Heinz Field on Saturday, Nov. 17. The Class 1-A final will be played at 11 a.m., the Class 3-A final will be played at 2 p.m., the Class 4-A final will be played at 5 p.m. and the Class 6-A final will be played at 8 p.m.

The Class 5-A final will be played at Norwin High School on Friday, Nov. 23. The Class 2-A final will be played at Joe Walton Field at Robert Morris University on Friday, Nov. 24.
