PITTSBURGH — As Pitt has for the last two seasons, the Panthers will wear their retro royal blue and athletic gold uniforms for senior day on Saturday when the Panthers host Virginia Tech at Heinz Field at 3:30 p.m.
It will be the third time overall and the second time at home that Pitt football has worn the throwback colors this season, which are wildly expected to become the university‘s official colors starting in 2019.
Pitt previously wore their retro threads on Oct. 6, in an overtime victory over Syracuse, and the road version one week later, in a loss at Notre Dame.
