What a week for the Pitt football program.

It started with them beating Wake Forest to win the ACC Coastal Division, followed by cracking the College Football Coaches Poll at #25 and then came being ranked #24 in the AP Rankings.

Tonight, the recognition continued as they were ranked #24 in College Football Playoff Rankings. Pitt is one of three ACC teams in this weeks rankings (Clemson and Syracuse).

The biggest news tonight was the fact that Central Florida moved ahead of Ohio State. This is the highest ranking for a non-Power Five team.
