Twitter Reaction to Pitt’s Loss to Miami
Good news for Pitt today was their defense and special teams played good enough to win.
Problem is the offense played their worst game of the 2018 season and it cost today from winning.
Pitt finishes the season with a record of 7-5 which is a two-game improvement over last season.
Next up is a matchup in the ACC Title game against #2 Clemson.
As is normally the case after a loss, the reaction on Twitter is pretty negative.
Reminder that the last time Pitt went into Miami and lost by three touchdowns, this happened the following week: pic.twitter.com/0c59qhqY68

Mr. Narduzzi, please call Kliff Kingsbury before you get on the plane and ask him to come to the ‘burgh and instill an innovative offense in your football program at #Pitt. #H2P

Only thing ‘positive’ is that last time they played Clemson they looked like complete crap vs Miami the week before. So there’s that

Pitt sucked today, no doubt about it.
But they are going to a bowl, Costal Division Champs and have a (slim) shot at the ACC Title next week.
No matter what happens the rest of the way, it’s a good season and I’m proud of the team. #H2P @Pitt_FB @ACCFootball— KWS (@KenWSines) November 25, 2018
Pitt ‘s K Pickett did not see a rush like the all season and it showed by him rushing passes at times and just look pressed all game!!
All in all Pitt looked terrible. That play like this next week they will get blown away!— John Marshall (@JRM1282) November 25, 2018

Say what you want, you just witnessed two different levels of coaching and two different levels of recruiting…..

As a Pitt fan, I should be used to being disappointed. But, no, I still get my hopes up only to have them shoved straight down my throat. ACC Coastal champs yes, but a very real possibility of ending the season with three straight losses to finish 7-7. Not a successful season.

Shawn Watson can walk home.

Pitt lost today. Still love my school, my team, my fellow alumni and all Pitt fans. That said—what the heck was that!?!?
— Ok, Cool. Hail ‘em (@PittifulFan) November 24, 2018
It looks like Miami knows what play Pitt is going to run every time. How they keep guessing one of the possible three plays right each time is impressive.

Well… they came out flat and didn’t perform. My guess is they’ll be juiced up for next week so hopefully they come prepared because it doesn’t get easier. #H2P #KeepFaith

Not mad, just disappointed

Pitt still has a long ways to go!

Seriously lacking speed and talent. Lucky for Pitt most of the Coastal is too

Lol. What an embarrassment. @CoachDuzzPittFB @Pitt_LykeAD @Pitt_FB . My decision to attend the game has just been made ????

This Pitt team wasn’t nearly as hapless as it was made out to be at 2-3 and wasn’t nearly as prolific as it was made out to be at 7-4. Like a lot of things in this world, it falls somewhere in the middle.

Don't worry we will be unranked. Just where we want to be when we play a #2 ranked team

As a Pitt football fan, I drink more when . . .
