Pitt Burned Redshirt of V’Lique Carter in Miami Loss

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Pitt freshman wide receiver V’Lique Carter returned to his South Florida roots on Saturday, as the West Palm Beach native was able to suit up for the Panthers against Miami at Hard Rock Stadium.

The game was Carter’s fifth in his first season with the Panthers, which means the 2018 season will count as his freshman year. Carter joins fellow Floridian receiver Shocky Jacques-Louis as the only two Class of 2018 Pitt players to play in five games thus far.
