It took a long time for Aliquippa wide receiver Will Gipson to get his hometown offer from Pitt.
It didn’t take him long to accept it and become Pitt’s 19th commitment in their Class of 2019.
Gipson, a 6-foot-3 senior receiver, committed to Pitt on Thursday and spoke with Pittsburgh Sports Now.
Gipson is only the fourth Aliquippa player to commit to Pitt since 2009.
Pitt now has two wide receivers in this class (Gipson and Jared Wayne).
