PSN Recruiting Notebook: December 3

Now that the college football regular season is over, coaches will be bought recruiting until National Signing Days in December and February. The PSN Recruiting Notebook will continually update you on local recruiting news such as signings, visits and new offers.

UPDATE (10:14 PM)-

**Pitt extends an offer to a 2020 lineman with a blue-chip list of offers. Junior offensive guard Seth McLaughlin (6’4”, 260) from Buford, Georgia gets the offer. The 3-star lineman also has been offered by Alabama, Arizona State, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State and South Carolina.

UPDATE (9:35 PM)-

**2020 running back Elijah Turner from Buford, Georgia gets an offer from Pitt. Turner (6’0”, 185) is a 3-star prospect with offers from Cincinnati, Louisville, Maryland, Purdue, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

UPDATE (8:44 PM)-

**Tonight, Pitt becomes the first Power Five school to offer a talented sophomore Ohio lineman. Offensive tackle Ben Christman from Richfield, Ohio gets the Panther offer tonight. Cincinnati was the first program to offer him. Christman (6-6, 300) tells PSN that he got the offer from Shawn Watson. He’s started from his freshman year and is considered the top 2021 offensive lineman in Ohio.

”I’m honored to receive an offer from Pitt! Those guys are known for having a ton of success with the O-line and getting players to the NFL. I’d feel like I would fit well with the Pittsburgh environment and team,” said Christman.

UPDATE (7:06 PM)-

**2020 offensive tackle Trey Leroux from Norwalk, Ohio gets an offer tonight from Pitt. Leroux (6’8”, 290) also holds offers from Cincinnati, Purdue and Toledo.

UPDATE (6:55 PM)-

**Second offer of the day from Pitt to a Baltimore athlete. 2021 wide receiver Dont’e Thornton (6’4”, 175) attends Mount Saint Joseph  in Baltimore. Thornton also holds offers from Penn State, Michigan, Rutgers and Virginia.

UPDATE (6:36 PM)-

**Pitt extends an offer tonight to 2020 RB/LB Marlowe Wax (6’1”, 220) from Baltimore, Maryland. This is his second offer, the other one coming from Syracuse.

UPDATE (5:18 PM)-

**Pitt running back Vincent Davis will have an in-home visit tonight from Pat Narduzzi and Charlie Partridge. Earlier in the day, Narduzzi and Partridge met with Pitt’s other running back commit, Daniel Carter.

UPDATE (4:55 PM)-

**Pitt commit 3-star safety Brandon Hill tells me that tomorrow he’ll be getting a visit from Pat Narduzzi and Tim Salem.

UPDATE (3:06 PM)-

**This morning, Pitt offensive line coach Dave Borbely was at Farrell High School to visit with future Pitt linebacker Kyi Wright. I’m told that he will be back tonight for a home visit with the Farrell star. Wright will be making his official visit to Pitt this weekend.

UPDATE (1:55 PM)-

**Over the weekend, Farrell’s Jourdan Townsend received an offer from Robert Morris.

UPDATE (1:49 PM)-

**First offer of the day by Pitt goes to sophomore lineman Ryan Linthicum from Damascus, Maryland. Linthicum (6’4”, 275) also holds offers from Ohio State, Michigan and Maryland.

UPDATE (1:40 PM)-

**Over the weekend, Pitt commit defensive end Brandon Mack made an official visit to Missouri. Later this week, Archie Collins will travel to Alabama to visit with Mack. Pitt is going to have to fight off a number of programs to keep Mack committed.

UPDATE (1:35 PM)-

**PSN has learned that later tonight Cory Sanders will be in Reading, PA to visit with 2019 commit linebacker Brandon George.

Also have been informed that Charlie Partridge will be in Miami tomorrow to see 2019 commit linebacker Leslie Smith.

UPDATE (1:32 PM)-

**As PSN was first to report last week, one of if not the first visit by Pitt would be out to the West Coast. Tim Salem arrived in California late last night and will spend the day with 3-star TE Travis Koontz. This is someone that Pitt hopes re-commits to the program but Koontz tells us that he still might make officials to TCU and Michigan State.

**Pat Narduzzi’s first will go to the player that just committed to the program. Narduzzi and Charlie Partridge are in Florida today to see 4-star running back Daniel Carter.

**Andre Powell’s first visit this morning went to two teammates in his recruiting territory: Pitt commits DE Deandre Jule and CB AJ Woods.
