Pitt’s Class of 2019 now has two 4-star recruits.

Less than a week after getting a commitment from Florida running back Daniel Carter, South Carolina quarterback Davis Beville has been elevated to 4-stars by Rivals.

Beville (6’6″, 205) committed to Pitt back in June and since then has become a vocal leader for Pitt amongst the current recruiting class.

Over the summer, Beville’s personal quarterback coach Ramon Robinson told Pittsburgh Sports Now that he believes his student was a diamond in the rough and considering his talent level, was very much underrecruited. Despite his enormous talent level, Beville’s only Power Five offers are from Pitt, Northwestern and Rutgers.

Sounds like the talent evaluators have found out what Robinson and people that have watched Beville play already knew.

Beville plans on signing in December and will enroll at Pitt early.

It just so happens that on the day of this big news, Beville will be getting an in-home visit from Pat Narduzzi and Shawn Watson.

After adding a 4-star recruit to their class, Pitt’s recruiting class is now ranked #32 by Rivals.
