For much of the week, Pitt’s recruiting visits have been to players that have already given commitments to the Panthers.

Today that changes as they will meet with a player that’s been high on their recruiting board for a while.

Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that both Randy Bates and Rob Harley will meet with star Aliquippa cornerback MJ Devonshire.

From what we understand, they’ll visit with Devonshire at school and then return in the evening for a home visit.

Those two along with Kevin Sherman will also have a home visit with wide receiver Will Gipson, who recently committed to the Panthers.

From all indications, Pitt still trails West Virginia in the battle for the multi-talented Devonshire.

Since his plan is to make his decision in February, Pat Narduzzi will likely wait until January to make his home visit with Devonshire.
