Fort Lauderdale offensive tackle Kaleb Boateng is someone that’s been connected to Pitt’s Class of 2019 for months now.

Back in June, Boateng made an official visit to Pitt with a few of his teammates and a group of Florida players.

At the time, Boateng admitted to he came close to making a verbal commitment but held off in order not to make a rushed decision.

It appears now that Pitt won’t be Boateng’s future home.

A source tells PSN that Pitt is no longer recruiting guards or centers and Pitt projected Boateng as a college guard.

As is often the case, when a team’s class starts to fill up, they start to prioritize certain positions and some offers no longer are committable.

Right now, Pitt’s priority on the line is to sign a couple offensive tackles and are focused on Christian Mahogany and Liam Dick.

The talented Florida lineman received some good news today as he picked up another Power Five offer.

Immediately after receiving the offer, Boateng announced he’d officially visit Arizona this weekend.

This past weekend, Boateng made an official visit to Florida Atlantic. Maryland and Indiana are two other programs that he’s reportedly still considering.

Boateng plans on making his decision on the December Signing Day.
