Pitt to Host New Hampshire in 2021

Published

on

Pitt will host New Hampshire at Heinz Field during the 2021 season, the FCS school announced on Wednesday. The date for the game has not been set.

The Panthers and Wildcats have met up once before, with Pitt prevailing, 38-16 at Heinz Field in 2010. That is the only meeting between the teams.

Pitt has frequently played teams from the CAA, New Hampshire’s conference, to fill its one allowable FCS game per season. The Panthers played Villanova in 2016, Albany this season and will play Delaware in 2019 and Richmond in 2020.

The only other non-conference game currently scheduled for the Panthers in 2021 is a trip to Tennessee. Pitt will host Clemson in the ACC’s crossover game, as well as Miami, North Carolina and Virginia from the Coastal Division. The Panthers will travel to Duke, Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Virginia Tech to round out conference play.
