**TE Travis Koontz wrapping up his official visit at TCU. Tomorrow, Koontz will be at Texas Tech thru Saturday.

UPDATE (6:22 PM)-

**More recruiting in Florida for Charlie Partridge as he stopped by Vero Beach High School to collect info on 2020s DB Evian Irving, QB Ryan Jankowski, 2020 WR Keith Woulard and 2021 DE Keanu Koht. Irving holds an offer from Indiana.

UPDATE (5:15 PM)-

**Pitt was at Pine-Richland to see 2020 running back Luke Meckler and some underclassman. Meckler was a quick, big-play back in Pine-Richland’s offense. Rob Harley made the visit.

UPDATE (4:50 PM)-

**Pitt continues to pursue 2019 Florida athlete Damarius Good from Altamonte Springs, Florida. He made an official visit last weekend and today Andre Powell and Shawn Watson has an at home visit with him. I’m told that Pitt is recruiting him to play running back.

**Another local recruiting visit today by Pitt as Kevin Sherman was at Blackhawk High School to check on 2020 running back/defensive back Marques Watson-Trent.

UPDATE (4:12 PM)-

**Pitt’s Kevin Sherman was recruiting the WPIAL today as he stopped by Sto-Rox High School and checked in on the following players:

WR Amahd Pack co 2020
DE/T Myier Woodard co 2020
QB Eric Wilson co 2020
MLB Diontae Givens co 2021

UPDATE (2:45 PM)-

**The recruitment of 2020 First Love Christian Academy shooting guard D.J. Gordon continues to blow up. After getting his first major-conference offer from TCU on Tuesday, he added an offer from Arizona State on Wednesday and his first ACC offer from Virginia Tech on Thursday.

UPDATE (2:20 PM)-

**A former WPIAL standout is back on the college market. Art Thompkins, a Class of 2015 running back from Woodland Hills, has graduated after four years at Toledo and announced on Twitter that he will seek a graduate transfer for his final season of eligibility.

Thompkins had 1,427 yards and 11 touchdowns on 231 carries and 34 catches for 291 yards over the last three seasons for the Rockets.

UPDATE (2:00 PM)-

**Future Pitt linebacker Leslie Smith announces his time for signing on Wednesday.

UPDATE (12:45 PM)-

**Pitt will get the top CBS broadcast crew for the Panthers’ New Year’s Eve date with Stanford in the Sun Bowl. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl, usually the top crew for CBS’ coverage of the SEC, will have the broadcast from El Paso. The kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern.

UPDATE (11:17 AM)-
**2020 offensive tackle Trey Zimmerman (6’5″, 295) from Roswell, Georgia received an offer this morning from Archie Collins. Zimmerman is a high 3-star recruit with offers from Boston College, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Virginia.

UPDATE (11:04 AM)-
**This morning, Charlie Partridge was recruiting in Florida and stopped by at Cocoa High School to check in on a player that already holds a Pitt offer. 2020 DE/OLB Marquise Freeman got a visit from Partridge. Freeman is a 3-star recruit and currently holds Power Five offers from Pitt and Rutgers.

Robert Morris tight end Matt Gonzalez was named to the Associated Press FCS All-America second team on Tuesday. He’s the fourth All-American all-time for RMU and the first since 2010.

In just his junior season, Gonzalez grabbed a team-record 12 touchdown passes and had 40 catches for 642 yards. Gonzalez is a Lakewood, Ohio native.
