UPDATE (5:00 PM)-

George Aston isn’t the only local backfield member that will be playing in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in January. Slippery Rock senior Wes Hills has also accepted an invite.

Hills, who is from Wildwood, N.J., rushed for an SRU-record 1,714 yards this season as the Rock won the PSAC West title.

Aston (Pitt) and receiver Nehari Crawford (Duquesne) have also accepted invites to the game.

UPDATE (2:45 PM)-

A four-star Pitt 2020 wide receiver target has listed his Top 10 and the Panthers aren’t in it.

Glen Burnie, Maryland receiver Curtis Jacobs from McDonough School listed Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

The Panthers are one of the 18 teams that have offered Jacobs.

Pittsburgh native and 2020 First Love Christian Academy (Washington, Pa.) shooting guard D.J. Gordon has received an offer from Wichita State.

Gordon also has offers from Arizona State, Central Connecticut State, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Hofstra, Kent State, Monmouth, South Florida, TCU and Virginia Tech.
