Central Catholic High School has a storied history of annually producing Division I talent.

From Dan Marino to more recent examples such as Damar Hamlin, Rashad Wheeler, Bricen Garner, David Adams, C.J. Thorpe and Kurt Hinish, you get the point, and it sure looks like we’re going to be adding more names to that long list over the next couple of seasons.

The names to watch include: DE A.J. Beatty (2020), DT Elliot Donald (2021), DL Amaar Allen (2020), DL A’meer Allen (2020), WR/SS Kenny Blake (2021), WR Sharrod Lindsey (2020), WR/OLB Eric Benson (2021), OLB Gus Sunseri (2020), OL Tom Hartnett (2020) and RB J.D. Younger (2022).

Over the last week, Pitt, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Nebraska, Duke, East Carolina, Toledo, Kent State, Miami-Ohio, Ohio, Colgate and Robert Morris have all been out to the school to visit various players.

Some college heavyweights have also recently been to Central Catholic, as Michigan was there Wednesday and Ohio State and Wisconsin made the trip Thursday morning. Pittsburgh Sports Now has been told that they all were there to check on Donald and Beatty, with Wisconsin stopping in today for Donald, Beatty as well as  the Allen twins and Hartnett. Earlier in the week, Pitt’s Cory Sanders made a visit to check on Donald, Beatty, and the Allen’s.

Beatty and the Allen brothers are all scheduled to attend Pitt’s junior day next weekend.

DE A.J. Beatty (6-foot-5, 240 pounds): offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Kent State, UMass, Miami-Ohio, Toledo, William & Mary and Yale.

DT Elliot Donald (6-foot-2, 220 pounds): offers from Pitt, Michigan, Rutgers, Toledo and Kent State.

DT A’meer Allen (6-foot-4, 250 pounds): offers from Ball State and Kent State.
