UPDATE (9:00 PM)-
**Two more offers from Pitt coaches:
–2021 athlete Yulkeith Brown from Miami, Florida. Brown holds offers from Boston College, Syracuse, South Florida, Kentucky and Rutgers.

–Freshman Amari Clark from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, New Jersey. Clark already holds offers from West Virginia, Baylor and Rutgers.
UPDATE (8:31 PM)-
**A couple new offers tonight from Pitt:
–2020 3-star running back Kobe Pryor (6’0″, 200) from Cedartown, Georgia. Pryor also holds offers from West Virginia, Duke, NC State, Purdue, South Carolina and Texas.

–2020 4-star safety Nehki Meredith (5’10”, 170) from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Meredith holds offers from Virginia Tech, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, TCU, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

**Pitt continued with their recruiting in Virginia by offering one of the top junior cornerbacks in the country. Keontae Jenkins (5’10”, 160) from Frank Cox High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This 4-star recruit holds offers from Florida State, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Florida, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, TCU, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

**2020 TE/DE Jackson Powell from Buford, Georgia gets an offer from Pitt. Powell (6’2″, 220) also holds offers from Virginia Tech, Army, Bowling Green and Syracuse. Powell received the offer from Rob Harley.

UPDATE (2:50 PM)-

**North Allegheny defensive back Corey Melzer has committed to Penn State as a preferred walk-on. Melzer, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back picked the Nittany Lions over offers from Bucknell and Slippery Rock.

UPDATE (2:40 PM)-

**Six Pitt football players were named to the all-ACC academic team, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Pitt’s nominees included senior wide receiver Rafael Arauju-Lopes, senior safety Dennis Briggs, redshirt freshman punter Kirk Christodoulou, senior offensive lineman Connor Dintino, senior running back Darrin Hall and sophomore center Jimmy Morrissey.

“On behalf of our entire program, I want to congratulate each of our six all-ACC academic football team honorees,” Narduzzi said. “They were not only important contributors on the field, but also high achievers in the classroom as well. These six young men exemplify the best of the Pitt football experience and we take great pride in their accomplishments.”

To be eligible for the team, athletes must earn a 3.00 grade point average from the previous semester along with a minimum 3.00 grade point average over the course of their academic career.

Pitt’s six honorees ranks fourth out of the 14 ACC football schools. In his four seasons as head coach, Pat Narduzzi has had 26 players selected to the all-ACC academic team, which is the second-highest total among ACC schools during that time period.

UPDATE (2:20 PM)-

**Pitt has extended offers to pair of talented Virginia underclassmen.

The Panthers offered 2021 Virginia Beach cover back Tony Grimes from Princess Anne High School. Grimes (6-foot, 180 pounds) is rated by 247 Sports as the No. 1 cornerback in the country and the top sophomore in the state of Virginia.

He has offers from Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, South Carolina, Texas A&M, TC< Tennessee, Virginia and Virginia Tech, among others.

Pitt also offered 2020 athlete LaMareon James from Indian River High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. James (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) has Power Five offers from Auburn, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

UPDATE (10:35 AM)-
**First offer of the day for Pitt goes to another player from Georgia. 2020 defensive end Jared Ivey from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. Ivey (6’6″, 215) is a 3-star recruit with an impressive list of offers from Arizona State, Duke, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Ivey received the offer from Rob Harley.

**A Pitt basketball targets had a big game last night. Junior center John Hugley (Cleveland, Ohio) posted a stat line of 25 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks. Jason Capel has been his lead recruiter for Pitt.

**Another sophomore received an offer from Pitt last night. Cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows (5’10”, 165) from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida received the news. McBurrows also has offers from Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Purdue, NC State, Kentucky, Georgia Tech and Baylor.

UPDATE (8:15AM)-
**Last night, Pitt extended an offer to sophomore cornerback Tyson Russell from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Russell (5’10”, 160) also holds offers from Syracuse, Purdue, NC State and Vanderbilt.
