Panthers Look to Stop Skid Against Orange

PITTSBURGH — Pitt has lost four straight games entering Saturday’s fray with Syracuse at Petersen Events Center, and Jeff Capel has been preaching patience with his young Panthers.

Yes, Pitt has dropped four straight to fall to 2-6 in ACC play, but three of those four have been on the road — one which was against a Louisville team that Pitt had already beaten — and the lone home game came against No. 2 Duke.

Saturday, it’ll be Pitt’s turn to be the spoiler, as they’ll try to flip around their defeat at the Carrier Dome by knocking off the Orange the second time around.
