PITTSBURGH — The stats say Duquesne is a mediocre team.
The Dukes are the No. 159 team in KenPom.com’s combined efficiency rating, which is the eighth-best mark in the Atlantic-10.
But the Dukes are 6-3 in conference play and will enter Wednesday’s game against St. Bonaventure just 1.5 games out of first place.
Head coach Keith Dambrot tried to explain how his team has over-performed its statistical value and broke down the importance of the upcoming stretch of games for the Dukes.
