It wasn’t exactly the opening weekend Kyle Hess hoped for when Pitt baseball traveled to Kissimmee, Florida for four games last weekend.
Hess, a freshman from Mount Joy, Pa., made his first collegiate appearance, and went 2 for 4 in Pitt’s season-opening win over Villanova. He, like many of the rest of the Panthers, suffered a bit of a letdown as Pitt lost its next three games.
But Hess remains in good spirits as he continues learn and grow in his first season at Pitt. Get to know more about Hess, why he chose Pitt:
