CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Pitt’s 12th straight loss was an ugly one, as the Panthers dropped a 73-49 decision to the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday.
But ugly is to be expected with a young team going up against the No. 2 team in the country and Tony Bennett’s notoriously stingy defense.
