Die-Hards: Pitt Football Staff Making New State A Priority

Published

on

Since becoming Pitt’s head coach in 2014, Pat Narduzzi has attempted to change the recruiting map for the program.

He’s changed the previous philosophy of concentrating mainly on Pennsylvania, Ohio and New Jersey and is trying to get talent from other areas. While the coaches still spend a lot of times in PA, Ohio and NJ, Florida has become Pitt’s top recruiting region.

In the last couple of years, despite not being terribly successful, the Panther staff has placed more of an emphasis on states like Michigan and Virginia.

From the early looks at the 2020 and 2021 offers, it sure looks like Narduzzi is trying to get into another state full of talent.
