Die-Hards: Pat Narduzzi Looking for Deja Vu?

Published

on

The Pitt football program had something unique happen last year as they were putting together their Class of 2019 and it looks like Pat Narduzzi is attempting to re-live some of that magic.

Due to the new December National Signing Day, high school players have started to take official visits in the summer and fall.

Last June, Narduzzi and Pitt hosted a major official visit weekend with a large number of out of town recruits that turned into a record weekend.

The weekend of June 15-17, Pitt hosted a number of athletes from Florida which turned out to be very successful.

During that time span, Pitt received commitments from Florida DT Calijah Kancey, New Jersey DE Bryce Nelms, DE Deandre Jules, QB Davis Beville, DB Brandon Hill, RB Vincent Davis, DE Bam Brima and TE Jason Collier. LB Leslie Smith, LB Brandon George and LB Kyi Wright also gave made their commitment to Pitt in June.

It appears Pitt is planning to have another big recruiting weekend this summer.
