Pitt Offers JUCO Sharp Shooter Sean McNeil

Jared Wilson-Frame was Pitt’s best 3-point shooting threat this season but last night was his last game as a Panther player.

Wilson-Frame’s graduation leaves a big void on the roster that needs to be replaced.

In an effort to do that, Jeff Capel offered one of the top JUCO 3-point shooters in the country.

Sean McNeil (6’4″, 190) from Sinclair Community College received an offer today from the Pitt staff. Along with Pitt, McNeil also has offers from Arkansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Providence, TCU, Texas Tech, West Virginia and Dayton.

Recently, McNeil was named the conference Player of the Year as he was the leading scorer (29.7 points/game), had six 40-point games and was the national leader with 4.3 three pointers/game. For the season, McNeil shot 43% from 3-point range.
