Attempting to build a relationship with our readers is something very important to us here at Pittsburgh Sports Now. We’d like to know you for more than just being a click we receive as you read our material.

In an effort to do that, we’re excited to announce a partnership that we’ve formed with a restaurant that will hopefully allow us to do that.

Starting this month, we will have a monthly Pittsburgh Sports Now Meet and Greet at the Walnut Grill Restaurant in Settlers Ridge in Robinson Township. The date of our first Meet and Greet will be on Friday, March 22, the first weekend of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. I’ll arrive at 7 PM for the start of the evening games and will be there till end of the games.

We here are Pittsburgh Sports Now would like to thank Tori Guisto, the general manager at the Robinson Walnut Grill for making this happen.

What will this consist of?

Pretty simple. This will be something very casual and informal. We will meet up at the bar inside Walnut Grill, have drinks, eat food, watch the March Madness basketball games and talk sports. We can talk, Pitt, Duquesne, Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, whatever you want.

As I mentioned, our first get together will be on March 22 but if you can’t make it then, this will be something we do once a month during the spring and summer. We’ll announce the date for our April Meet and Greet shortly after our initial one later this month.

We really hope that you can make it out to our first gathering so we can meet you our readers and thank you for allowing our website to grow as much as it has over these 3+ years.

So we can give Tori and the people at the Robinson Walnut Grill an idea of how many people could be showing up, if you plan on coming, please send us a direct message on Twitter @PghSportsNow or e-mail me at mvukovcan@gmail.com.

Thanks again to Walnut Grill and we hope to see and meet you on March 22.
