Just months after getting a commitment from wide receiver Will Gipson, Pitt is going back to Aliquippa for one of their top juniors.
This evening, 2020 linebacker Zuriah Fisher (6’3”, 225) received an offer from Pitt. Fisher tells PSN that he got the phone call from linebacker coach Rob Harley who told him they’re really impressed with the way he moves on the field.
The 3-star recruit now holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Indiana, Minnesota, Syracuse and a handful of MAC programs.
Fisher tells me that although he doesn’t have a date set, he will be making a visit to Pitt soon.
Fisher becomes the sixth WPIAL junior to receive an offer from Pitt: Fisher, Michael Carmody, AJ Beatty, Dayon Hayes, Josh Rawlings and Jack Salopek. They also recently offered former North Catholic linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green.
