Andy Toole has added another impact recruit to his 2019-2020 roster.

Following his official visit over the weekend, Sheridan College forward AJ Bramah (6’7″, 185) has committed to Robert Morris. Bramah becomes the third member of their Class of 2019 joining DJ Russell and Olisa Ngondi.

This past season, Bramah averaged 13.2 points per game and 7.6 rebounds. The California native picked Robert Morris over Loyola Marymount but also held offers from Buffalo, Nevada, Arkansas, Iona, Florida International, Missouri State, Buffalo, Cal Poly, Stephen F. Austin, Austin Peay, Cal State Fullerton and East Carolina.

As he was heading to the airport, PSN caught up with Bramah to find out more about his weekend and his reason for committing to Toole.

“I loved the visit,” said Bramah. “It’s an up and coming program with the new facilities they have, the players coming back and the new players coming in.”

”I feel like Coach Toole understands the player I am which is rebounding, facilitating for others, defending and attacking. I’m so excited to play for him because he’s very passionate about this game and wants the best for his players. I honestly feel like I can come in and make an immediate impact on this team. Whatever the coaches need me to do. I’ll get it done.”

Bramah previously stated that he expected to commit sometime in mid-April, why this morning?

“I committed today just because there was no need to wait,” said Bramah. “I woke up this morning knowing for a fact that this was my decision and I’m so excited to get started.”

Bramah and Russell give Toole two players that will be expected and are fully capable of making an immediate impact this coming season. Russell (6’6”, 210) is a 3-star forward from Miami Dade College.

A basketball recruiting analyst tells PSN that Bramah is “a versatile forward that’s very good at attacking rim and finishing. He’s also an excellent rebounder and plays with good motor.”

Robert Morris is still looking to add more player to this year’s class.
