Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that sophomore forward Chris Coalmon has decided to transfer from Robert Morris.
Coalmon (6’7”, 190) joins sophomore Koby Thomas as the second Colonial to leave this off-season.
This past season, Coalmon averaged 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Last season, he averaged 3.4 points a game.
A source tells PSN that this transfer has to do with playing time for the upcoming season.
Minutes for Coalmon were up and down this year and with Charles Bain and Yannis Mendy returning and with the additions of AJ Bramah and DJ Russell there may not be a ton of playing time for him next year.
