What’s Tim Salem Up to Today in New Jersey and New York?

Pitt Panther coaches are traveling up and down the East Coast as recruiting for the Class of 2020 continues.

Tim Salem started his travels yesterday as he arrived in his territory of New York and New Jersey.

As Pittsburgh Sports Now has been reporting, over the last two weeks the Pitt staff has hosted a number of players from both New York and New Jersey. It’s likely that Salem will be following up with some of these recruits by making a return visit to.

Here’s a list of some of the top players from New York and New Jersey that currently hold offers from Pitt. We’ve reached out to all of these recruits to see if Pitt will be visiting and we’ll provide an update as soon as we receive any information.

2020 4-star running back Jalen Berger (Ramsey, New Jersey): Berger visited Pitt last week and we believe that Salem will be at Don Bosco Prep visiting him today.

2020 4-star running back Tirek Murphy (Middle Village, New York): Murphy visited Pitt last week on the same day as Berger.

2020 3-star defensive tackle Isaiah Raikes (Richland, New Jersey)

2020 4-star defensive end Fadil Diggs (Camden, New Jersey)

2020 4-star linebacker William Mohan (Brooklyn, New York: Mohan made an unofficial visit with his parents to Pitt yesterday. Mohan is an elite, national recruit.

2020 3-star linebacker AJ Roberts (Staten Island, New York)

2020 3-star linebacker Tirek Austin-Cave (Camden, New Jersey)

2020 4-star safety Jordan Morant (Dradell, New Jersey)

2020 3-star athlete Soloman Deshields (Milliville, New Jersey)

2020 3-star running back Isreal Abanikanda (Brooklyn, New York)

2020 3-star athlete RJ Moten (Delran, New Jersey)

2020 3-star wide receiver Chris Long (Willingboro, New Jersey)

2020 4-star defensive end Amin Vanover (Montvale, New Jersey)

2020 3-star athlete Kobe Myers (Blairstown, New Jersey): Myers tells PSN that Salem is scheduled to visit him next Tuesday. At this point, he doesn’t hold an offer from Pitt but has ones from Cincinnati, Iowa and Syracuse. Myers says that he plans on attending a Pitt football prospects camp this summer.
