“I just feel like after the spring evaluation period ends, it’ll be a good time to focus on a smaller amount of schools for the summer,” Beatty told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “Narrowing it down is going to be very hard. I’m just going to sit down with my family and weigh out the pros and the cons for each school. I’m planning on doing like a top seven or eight schools.”
Monday night, Central Florida became the 40th team to offer Beatty. His other major offers include Pitt, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Boston College, NC State, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, Indiana and Minnesota.
It’s likely that schools such as Pitt, West Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina will make this initial cut.
